Partnerships

The following list presents areas where partnership can be fruitful. More than material or financial giving, however, partnerships convey the sharing of spirit, body, sweat, laughter, tears and joy of our common humanity. In order for partnerships to be successful in the minds of the students and staff of ZITC, there must be a sense and agreement of mutuality in the giving and receiving of gifts, one to another. While it may seem that what follows presents a one-sided picture of giving, and the other receiving, Zambian Baptists will ensure that our partners from the US and overseas will be recipients of the cultural, spiritual and material largess of the people of Zambia.
  • Construction and renovation
Dormitory facilities, classroom renovation, spirituality center
  • Library books and materials
Funding for journals and literature, computers, training of student librarians
  • Faculty and student exchange
Short-term faculty or student exchanges, sabbaticals, collaboration on a theological journal
  • Financial support for specific areas of need
Student scholarships for tuition and travel, property maintenance and administration, meals
  • Foundation grants for theological education
  • Enhancing theological training through the arts
Music, dance, theater, visual arts and folk art
